I am lucky to have a life full of things I love. Since graduating in 2007 I introduced psychology to the Wellington Academy and have been leading it since. In September 2016, I also took responsibility for Sociology, developing the new Social Sciences Department. In my time at the academy I have also been blessed with a range of other opportunities, including Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Student Leadership Coordinator. I have managed the EPQ qualification and loved teaching an array of other subjects as well as psychology and sociology. In 2014 it was time to return to the classroom and begin working towards being able to practice psychology as well as teach it. I completed the foundation degree in Humanistic Counselling, specialising in Transactional Analysis. In 2017, I took on the role of Tutor at Peter Symonds where I teach on the Level 2 and Level 3 counselling courses. The following January I also joined to teach sociology A-level. I am a registered member of the BACP and volunteer as a Counsellor at Andover Crisis and Support Centre, a role I love. Alongside my voluntary counselling role and my teaching, I have a small counselling practice for private clients, Counselling With Verity.
