The flagship cricketing extravaganza in the NITIE calendar, NITIE Premier League (NPL) takes place during February-March every year. It starts off with NPL Bawaal, the inter-section cricket tournament followed by the very popular and most anticipated NPL Team and Player Auctions, after which the League Matches commence. My responsibilities include working with the organizing team, managing the finances, purchasing of NPL inventory (sports kits, team jerseys, refreshments), designing of various entities, and organizing a successful season of the NPL.

In ACC Limited, the Logistics Department is concerned with outbound activities. At Regional Office – East, Kolkata, the following were the topics under study:> Proof of Delivery from Dealers for Road Dispatch from Plant> Factoring Customer Service Level and Transporter PerformanceThe role of plant logistics is very crucial in terms of timely delivery of cement to the customer. Regional Office at Kolkata and Sales units at Kolkata and Asansol respectively, work together for the distribution and allocation of cement from plant. A model for e-PoD was designed keeping the plant logistics team, sales unit, transporter and customer (dealer) in a single sphere. Field visits were carried out to realize dealers’ concerns from the markets and transporters’ concerns from plant. Pilot plant for the project was Damodhar Cement Works (DCW) and the markets under Sales Units (SU’s) Kolkata and Asansol were selected. Different methods of e-PoD were then conceptualized to address the concerns. Dealers and Transporters were made aware of the benefits of an e-PoD and convenient methods for the same were discussed. The best feasible method was selected out of the suggested methods.

I was a member of the Virtual BAJA SAE Team from ITER who represented the college at the National Finals of Virtual BAJA SAE at Bangalore (November 2011). I was responsible for organizing flagship events 'Hovercraft' and 'Catapult' during annual college techfest 'Chakravyuh' under SAEINDIA ITER, the collegiate club. Our team organized the biggest Automobile Engineering and Engine Design Workshop in Eastern India (February 2012).

Worked as an Editorial board member of Veritas, the University newsletter of SOA University. My responsibilities comprised selection and editing of the newsletter content, designing the layout, publication and distribution of the newsletter, and organizing independent events like the Veritas Spelling Bee (2011, 2012) and the Veritas Debate (2012).
