Oversaw the electric actuator design and sizing for new orders, including checking the sizing, creating and issuing the purchase order, verifying that the actuators were shipped to the proper location and assisting in all field service problems with the actuators. In addition, I designed any electric actuators during the quotation stage that had special specification requirements and/or operating heads over 30 feet.

In addition to my responsibilities as Gate Engineer, I created and issued purchase orders for the electric actuators. Managed a project to replace the standard gearbox product with a new gearbox product. Those responsibilities included design, purchasing and maintaining inventory levels.

The position included the same duties performed as Gate Processor with the added responsibilities of reviewing electric actuator quotes, sizing and completing purchase order request forms.

Prepared installation drawings for customers' review and approval. Processed and prepared part drawings and bill of materials. Managed and processed security orders for nuclear power plants. Served in several departments such as Standard Parts and Gate Engineering.
