I'm a creative powerhouse with over 20 years of industry experience and founder + CEO of Scratchdisk Creative Sdn Bhd (SCr.), a boutique creative agency that…rocks. I'm also a serial entrepreneur, blogger/writer, Twitter-addict, foodie, tech geek, animal lover, Steve Jobs fanboy and an absolute petrolhead. In 2010, I assembled some incredible people and co-founded Level5 Creative, a multi-spoke creative conglomerate that specialised in branding, visual communication, interior design, digital marketing and web development. My entrepreneurial itch continued as I co-founded TheCarGuys.MY in 2011, a badass automotive site that sadly went bust a couple of years later, with co-founders from the same team that brought you Cars.MY magazine, published by MPH.Being obsessed with technology and gadgets, I've been running my own tech blog – VERNONCHAN.COM for 15 years, creating awesome content on YouTube, Medium and other platforms. The blog has blessed me with often first hand knowledge (and hands-on experience) with the world’s "next best thing" and the opportunity to travel the world as well as connect with some incredibly brilliant minds.I also co-founded TheHypedGeek.com, a portal for geek and gadget culture; which later joined forces with MindBlow – an online publishing network spearheaded by Malaysia’s #1 tech website SoyaCincau.com. I spent several years in MindBlow as branding+marketing+sales lead, which saw the team grow from a humble core of six to the 15-man strong team it is today.I look up to creative and inspirational people like Steve Jobs, Richard Branson, Dr Ivan Misner and Jeff Bezos. When I'm not creating content, reading, doodling, gaming, burning rubber and geeking out on tech, I thrive on good coffee (hand-poured V60, single-origin, please), good food and plenty of humour. Constantly feeding my venturesomeness, you’ll find me constantly searching, researching and synthesising the next endeavour.Right now, I share my life with a beautiful wife and two adorable rescued cats - Comot and Misa.While I cherish my me time (where I mostly immerse myself in books), I'm a social butterfly who loves to connect with people online and offline.
