This role is responsible for protecting employees, artwork, buildings, and grounds.As well as monitoring visitor and staff interactions. In addition toproactively addressing disputes and complaints politely and professionally with quality customer serviceSecuring all areas at the beginning and the end of each day and managing the access card system for the entire site. This role also developed training materials that are used to empower the Visitor Services team by teaching de-escalation tactics.

Responsible for all aspects of security for the building, property, and collection.

In this role, I taught a course entitled " Contemporary Approaches to Art making," where I designed and presented a visual arts curriculum that explored the artistic practices of contemporary artists and the core techniques that these artists employ in their work. During the course, I placed a central focus on exposing my students to female artists and artists of color who are emblematic of contemporary art. In each unit, we discussed the visual and physical aspects of the artmaking process, as well as the political, economic, and social implications of each artist's work. To this end, I challenged my students to explore these themes in their own work as they responded to each assignment. During the semester the students experimented with collage, non-traditional painting techniques, and drawing, in addition to printmaking methods such as linocut, monotype, and gum arabic transfers.

As part of my art and design practice, I develop independent art installations in collaboration with local and regional arts organizations. I have developed projects alongside the Newburgh Community Land Bank, The Ann Street Gallery, Ads Warehouse, Terrain Biennial, Wickham Workspace, Unison Art Center, and the Orange County Arts Council.
