Support includes development of engineering and design documentation; onsite installation and configuration; development of C&A / A&A artifiacts; consulting; business development (cost estimating / engineering, proposal development, orals participation, etc.); customer relationship management; employee recruiting and mentoring; and pretty much every aspect of winning and executing work. M.C. Dean is very much an environment for "blue collar executives", an aspect of the company I find very endearing and challenging, and I enjoy the wide variety of challenges. I currently live in Tampa and travel as needed to locations throughout CONUS / OCONUS, which is pretty frequent.

I was originally hired to deploy IT infrastructure in the company before it was the engineering force that it is today. I helped transform the company from a single server at a corporate location to a multi-site, true corporate enterprise. As part of this effort, I hired and developed the first MIS staff for the company, and also jointly supported many projects with IT expertise and resources before hiring the current MIS Director who has done amazing things for the organization while I moved on to focus on customer facing projects.

Supported the company's internal IT infrastructure while also working full time supporting NAVSEA initiatives. We deployed the first Windows NT servers for a few directorates within NAVSEA and supported a wide range of Microsoft, Novell, and Unix operating system environments, as well as supporting their LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Worked on the NAVSEA Help Desk supporting all Crystal City directorates. Provided day to day support (Tier I - III) for NAVSEA end users. Heavily supported NAVSEA's initiative to make the initial TCP/IP desktop deployments using 3rd party stacks and applications, and supported dozens of desktop and back office applications as well as NAVSEA's SNA infrastructure.
