I joined NatWest Bank in 1970 and at the time I was the youngest ‘shift’ worker the Bank had ever had. Over the years I always worked in IT and ended up as a Shift Leader, managing a team of 16 technicians, providing the Banks 89 Mainframe services. I took Redundancy in 2003 and setup my own IT support company supporting Primary Schools and other small businesses and individuals in my local area. In 2014 I took a part time job with CRF health, a clinical trials support company (Now Signant Health) going full time in 2015.I retired in 2018 and finally gave up running my support company in 2020. I still do the website for a campaign group and am trying to learn Joomla, InDesign and Photoshop.
