My role was to partner with Microsoft Research groups to develop the NLP technologies to enable our group vision of making Microsoft Office more context aware and smarter. These technologies included Named Entity extraction, Key Phrase, Event, Address and People identification. All these technologies became the foundation for Microsoft's Cortana Assistant and Microsoft Exchange Intelligent services.

I moved to Microsoft HQ and was the developer working on business intelligence and automation tools to help reduce product development costs and to utilize budget spending.

In my role as a tools developer I was responsible for building the business intelligence tools and processes that would give our planning team actionable feedback on the 100 million users we had at the time.
