I was the Cable Plant Manager assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. I supervised 10 employees who installed and maintained the Structured Communications Cabling systems in all the Buildings on the WRAMC Post. We installed over 17000 New LAN Drops in the Main Hospital Building and built 24 Telecommunications Rooms. We installed new Multimode and Singlemode Fiberoptic Backbone Cabling to tie all the TR's together and back to the Main Computer Room. Designed and Installed a New OSP Backbone Infrastructure to support the entire WRAMC Campus.

I was a key member of the telecommunications team assigned to the Executive Office of The President of the United States Data Center (EOPDC) in Washington, D.C. Duties included moving and installing personal computer equipment and Novell local area network connections. Performed troubleshooting and repair of personal computers, printers and Novell local area network problems. Responsible for supporting the White House, White House Press Office, Vice President's Office, National Security Council, Office of Management and Budget, Office of Administration and other associated agencies.

Mr. Stiffler was assigned to work at Westinghouse - Defense and Electronics Systems Company (DESCO). Responsible for the installation, maintenance support, troubleshooting, expansion and upgrades of the AT&T System 75 PBX with over 500 phones and approximately 75 PC's that resided on the AT&T StarLAN network. Supervised one technician.

Mr. Stiffler coordinated installations, relocations and the troubleshooting of all IBM, HP, and Unisys networked terminals. Maintained all serial numbers, hardware & software version numbers, terminal and print-screen configurations for 95 IBM 3x74's at various locations throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. Involved in the design and relocation of the Network Control Center to a new 2,280 square foot facility. Designed a new 576 square foot Lab for test purposes. Redesigned and relocated the corporate packet-switching facility at the Baltimore office. Supervised six technicians and two subcontractors.
