Minister of Tourism of the Government of Andorra. In 2019 I joined the Andorran Government as Minister of Tourism. It has been for me for a real honour and a big challenge to face big matters such as the pandemic which stroke heavily the worldwide tourism industry and set up recovering strategies for Andorra.

In representation of Ski Andorra, I belonged to the board of directors of the CEA (Andorran business confederation). I was a member of the Tourism Commission, the Brand Commission and the Global Commission.

Domestic Business Manager at Grandvalira SAETDE. I manage some 8 million euros yearly in investments and more than 800 employees who work together in the largest Ski Resort in Southern Europe.Over 5 years I have created and managed new products and profit centers, from the Business Plan until their implementation and consolidation on the ground. Always looking for new business opportunities to exploit and at the service of the company’s income statement.As part of Grandvalira SAETDE strategic management, I plan, monitor and manage every division and business area (Annual Plan, budgets, investments, products, revenues and outsourced centers tracking). I oversee more than 20 food points of sale, 3 ski schools, 1 outdoor activity center, the hospitality area and points of sale within the ski resort.I have implemented the quality control and safety at work system, managing its implementation and development every year, in addition to directly coordinating and monitoring on the ground all the mountain division: technical facilities, operations, snow production, ski lifts, machines and services on tracks.Furthermore, as the company’s national representative, I am responsible for institutional relations with different economic, social and governmental stakeholders.

During 10 years as Head of the Restaurant Area and Business Development, along with my team, we restructured SAETDE’s portfolio promoting the restaurant outsourcing project. We successfully concluded strategic agreements with important stakeholders of the hospitality industry.We created new business areas and complementary products to complete the company’s portfolio, like merchandising, outdooring, photo service or new disruptive concepts in the fields of leisure and restaurants.We positioned the sectors and Grandvalira in general as referents in the Ski Resort Premium segment, thanks to the experiences we designed as a complement to the forfeit. A huge challenge achieved for a seasonal company whose most of its turnover is generated in just 5 months.As area manager, I drafted the general annual strategy regarding restaurants and ancillary businesses, experiencing rapid growth.With a budget around 20 million euros per year, I managed and coordinated the whole value chain and ancillary service and product processes: rental stores, photography, etc.

As Head of Delegation and, subsequently, Large Accounts Manager, I oversaw the sale of services provided by the company entering national agreements per industry.I worked in market research, with a special emphasis on top-tier industries, focusing the area efforts on the chemical, food, textile and public administration sectors as well as on temporary work services’ bidding processes.While I was Large Accounts Manager at Adecco, we entered national agreements with leading companies like Bayer, Damm, Bimbo, Novartis, Diverseylever, Sanofi, Pierre Fabre, Lab. Esteve, Lab. Lacer, Lab. Uriach, Nutrexpa, Anheuser Busch or Titanlux, among others.
