I grow a garden every summer. Something about putting my hands in the soil, the hope and constant miracle of life growing from buried little seeds. I share this experience with my son, and his gradual understanding of interdependence with these resources brings joy and connection.I have a dynamic skill set and diverse background in management, evaluation, research, science, art, design, political science, international relations, communications, and education program and curriculum development. I currently work in federal grant management and Tribal relations in Minnesota. I have a Master's degree in Integrated BioSciences from the University of Minnesota, integrating Cell Biology and Ecology into my thesis. I simultaneously completed an educational study after launching a citizen science project around Lyme disease prevention.I was raised on values tied to the land and being of service to others.
