I am a recent graduate from Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH. I am looking to pursue a career in Game Engineering/Development.Digital storytelling has recently become an interest of mine, but I’ve been engrossed in storytelling as a whole since my childhood. For a long time, short stories were my medium of choice. During high school, however, I broadened my horizons to include musical storytelling through film scores and musicals. In my first year of college, I realized that my favorite form of storytelling was through video games. I’ve striven to pursue game design ever since. I have remotely interned at FlowPlay, a browser-based game company located in Seattle, WA. During my time at FlowPlay, I utilized Git and Docker to work on server-side software. I also learned client and server software handling. This internship helped to solidify my decision to pursue game design and development after college. I am most proficient in working with C++, Java, Python, C, and JavaScript. I also know how to use Git, Docker, Eclipse, and Blender.Along with game development, I enjoy playing RPG and puzzle-based video games. In my free time, I love playing French horn and trumpet in large ensembles, leading D&D games as a Dungeon Master, drawing digital art, and creating musical compositions.
