I am a Case Manager, and I provide quality care to patients with mental health and detox needs. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field, and I am pursuing a PhD in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior at Capella University. My mission is to help people overcome their challenges and achieve their goals, while applying evidence-based practices and ethical principles.My core competencies include communication, mental health care, and writing. I collaborate with nursing staff and psychiatrists to determine the best delivery of treatment for each patient, and I meet with patients and families to discuss realistic and appropriate discharge options. I also conduct biopsychosocial intake assessments, develop individualized service plans, and facilitate a Mindfulness and Art group weekly. I am always eager to learn new skills and techniques, and to contribute to the improvement of the services and outcomes of my organization.
