As a teaching assistant at the University of Virginia, I support the instruction and assessment of undergraduate courses in linguistics, applying my problem solving skills and passion for language. I am also pursuing a master's degree in linguistics, focusing on phonology and computational methods, with the goal of advancing the field and contributing to linguistic research and applications.Prior to joining UVA, I worked as a software engineer at Defined Networking and Duo Security, where I developed and maintained integrations and developer experience tools for network security products. I leveraged my knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, and C#, to create user-friendly and secure solutions for clients and developers. I also wrote and edited documentation, using my linguistic skills to ensure clarity and accuracy.
