-Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of the staff in the chemical analysis laboratoryunit.-Develops standardized procedures, where possible, and new testing methods as a result ofmodern developments, including the field of air pollution control.-Prepares letters explaining the results of chemical tests, examinations and analyses, andinterpretation of the findings.-Prepares scientific papers for publication, participates in scientific meetings and conferencesand serves on scientific committees.-Maintains working knowledge and hands on experience with tests in the unit to ensurecontinuity of operation.

Assist laboratory manager in the performance of raw materials testing according to USP, EP, JP, FCC, ASTM, AOCS, and/or methods provided by clients.Perform complex testing related to compendial monographs and general chapters; IR/UV analysis, Assays GC/HPLC analysis, ICP-MS analysis, Atomic Absorption spectrometry, etc.Perform measurements, computations, tabulation, and analyze results related to the testing conducted. Perform non-routine instrumental analysis and wet chemistry analysis in response to customer inquiries and projects as required. This may include but not limited to developing methods and performing method validation and verifications.Operate and maintain/calibrate laboratory equipment as per manufacturer’s recommendations and company’s Preventive Maintenance program. Maintain laboratory records related to all testing activities assuring that they are accurate and up to date. Perform all analysis and lab related duties as per cGMP.

Operates, maintains and calibrates automated and semi-automated radiopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.Lead, organize and train local team members on the technological transfer of production processes (synthesis) and analytical methodsLead and execute the qualification of analytical equipment, the validation protocols and the analytical methods validation. Prepare SOPs, validation protocols and validation/qualification reportsContribute to the production of PET tracers and industrialization of the new synthesis processes.Contribute to the quality control of PET tracersInitiate and author Investigations, CAPAs, Deviation and Change Control documentation as related to manufacturing and testing of radiopharmaceuticals. Follow and observe all radiation safety procedures in agreement with the ALARA principle. Evaluating and characterizing precious metal containing materials, including manufactured products and refining residues, metallic, solutions and development samplesPerforming routine analyses using state of the art instrumentation - ICP - Flame AAWorking in compliance with company SOPs, cGMPs, and health/safety regulationsAnalyze data and results for betterment of products.

Perform analysis and calibration on cosmetic, pharmaceutical and chemical samples by ICP-OES, ICP-MS, HPLC, GC/GC-MS, NIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and other wet chemistry techniques.Assist Senior Chemist with validating, developing and modifying methods to be in compliance with GLP/GMP, FDA, USP, EPA, ASTM, and other agencies protocols.Maintain and organize the cleanliness of the laboratory.Tracking, organizing, and ordering laboratory supplies.Perform routine assay on samples in compliance with GLP/GMP, FDA, USP protocols by acid and microwave digestion Accurately record data and maintain laboratory files and notebooks.

Operating instruments such as ICP and ICP-MS on a daily basisMaintaining the basic and advanced instrument protocols, SOPs, and troubleshooting. Tracking and ordering the laboratory supplies, reagent and standard books.Preparing standards and chemical reagents on a daily basis.Assisting in wet chemistry area of techniques such as digestion, filtration, pipette calibration, balance measurements, and percent solidEnsure the data calibration to meet SOP’s and clients’ requirements.

Testing metal analytes in waste water, drinking water, and various substances by operating instruments such as ICP, Flame AA, and FIMS (Mercury) on daily basis.Data entry and data review on daily basis using LIMS.Maintain and tracking the SOPs, reagent and standard books in the laboratory.Assisting in metal preparation and digestion.
