Commodity Buyer for Printed Circuit Boards, Displays and Speakers. Responsible for Initial Sourcing of all Forward Model Business for North America. Develop Commodity Strategy with Global Commodity Team. Duties include: Negotiation of Initial Pricing with YOY productivity included, identify and implement cost savings strategies, handle "stop ship" issues due to quality of product, material shortages, logistics problems, etc. evaluate new suppliers, etc.

Forecast Bill of Material Costs for future business quotes with customers and work towards a target to win the business. Track APQP with all suppliers and work within cost targets to achieve total bom cost.

Responsible for Initial Sourcing of all purchased parts, nomination of suppliers, creation of supplier contracts in SAP, sourcing of all prototype parts, quote and negotiate all design changes through the life of the program, responsible for supplier quality and supplier PPAP within program timing, work with commodity purchasing on resourcing efforts.

Responsible for sourcing of all components on electronics programs, lighting program and interior programs. Negotiate all design changes, process all purchase orders and tool orders and track supplier timing to PPAP. Work with suppliers, manufacturing and product design to initiate and implement cost savings ideas and achieved all targets. Resolve quality issues with suppliers.

Created Manufacturing Bill of Materials for Multimedia (electronics) products for Brazil and Mexico. Processed all changes through internal systems, authorized purchasing to source all components. Created Roles and Responsibilities for Brazil and Mexico and created release process. Performed volume campaigns on manufacturing bill of materials and coordinated across all regions.
