From 2016-2018 I used my degree to care for animals in need at Midlands Humane Society. There, I learned the importance of patience, how to interact with individuals and animals in distress, and how caring for others (animals and humans alike) can make our world a better place. Prior to my current position, I worked at Nebraska Department of Correctional Services as a Drug Detection Canine Handler, where I was responsible for gathering intelligence, interacting with a diverse range of people and cultures, and ensuring the safety and security of staff, inmates, and visitors. This position helped me to grow my communication skills and strengthened my emotional intelligence.I am known for my trustworthiness, strong organizational skills, and dependability.
