As a math teacher at Calcasieu Parish School Board for seven years, I have developed and delivered engaging and effective math curriculum for middle and high school students, as well as mentored and coached other educators in integrating technology and teamwork in their classrooms. I have also contributed to various PLCs and in-services to improve the instructional practices and outcomes of the school and the department. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Math Education from Grand Canyon University, and I am passionate about education and learning. I am looking for a role that allows me to leverage my skills and experience in learning and development while also providing me with more flexibility and financial freedom. I am self-sufficient, organized, and adaptable, and I always strive to perfect my practices and learn new things.
