As a young girl I found satisfaction in proving to the neighborhood boys and my many male cousins that I was just as physically capable as they were to play the games and sports that they deemed girl's to be inadequate. This feeling of satisfaction that I experienced at a young age is truly an energy that that can also be defined as "drive" and "passion".I felt this energy again in my young adult years when I began a career in banking. I formed a drive to become successful and embraced any and all opportunities provided along this career path. This drive was definitely sparked by my two beautiful young children who were brought into this world by a single mother. I was their only provider and I wasn't going to fail them.I felt this energy yet again in my late 30's, this time in the form of passion. The Tom Boy in me circled back around and I reunited with the athlete that was hiding inside of me. I wanted to share this passion so I became a certified Personal Trainer and certified Group Fitness Instructor. The rewarding feeling that comes from the progress and appreciation of those that you are assisting in making positive life changes are invaluable.
