● Facilitate internal and external communications with clients, pathologists, sales team, staff and management in multiple departments for “boutique” marketed laboratory● Recognize client issues and assist working through resolution while retaining professional composure and positive company representation● Work closely with the sales team to maintain account relationships and notify them of any issues or concerns associated with the client/provider base● Resolve specimen discrepancies via fax, telephone and/or email and ensure receipt of test results with staff for local, statewide and international clients● Obtain written waivers and verify clinical information● Knowledge of testing and specimen viability associated with validated collection devices● Consistently ensure test order accuracy, quality control, clinical history & necessary corrections● Manage high call volume with excellent etiquette and warmth● Report critical, abnormal and positive test results to clients to ensure timely patient treatment● Submit client supply requests based on client’s medical specialty● Communicate courier specimen transport requests to in-house and outsourced drivers● Create transfer manifest for slide distribution and fi le slides upon return from surrounding hospitals● Microsoft Windows literate and perform a range of clerical duties
