Hey there! I’m Veronica Huerta, but you can call me Vii. I’m all about blending my passion for creativity with a strong sense of purpose. Currently, I work as an Executive Assistant at California Indian Legal Services, where I help keep Office running smoothly for the Executive Director. Whether it’s managing multiple projects, coordinating Board meetings, or diving into marketing and design work, I’m all about getting things done with care and attention to detail.Outside of the office, I’m the proud owner of Viisual Photography. Through my camera lens, I get to tell the stories of Native American culture in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. From capturing everyday life in tribal communities to producing creative visual content for exhibitions and online platforms, photography and videography are my ways of celebrating and preserving our rich heritage.With a background in program management and grant writing, I’ve also spent years working in community-focused roles—especially when it comes to advocating for victims of sexual assault in Native American communities. My work has always been rooted in cultural sensitivity, collaboration, and a desire to create lasting, positive change.Let’s connect!
