Northumberland County Council representative on the Board of NCBA, a voluntary association working for Visually Impaired People throughout Northumberland.

The aim of Ageing Well is to ensure that as many older people as possible can be active, connected and well. Older people are a great asset and we need make the most of their skills, experience and energy, offering a contrast to the negativity about age; about the doom and gloom and the “problems” an older population is causing. It involves all partners in Northumberland including the County Council, Health care services and the voluntary sector.
