• Continually provide a high level of Human Resources support to field, operations, and corporate staff through the company transition process of bankruptcy to acquisition. • Manage training and communications on Human Resources topics including wage and hour topics, federal and state laws, OSHA and safety requirements, sexual harassment and abuse training, and employee relations issues.• Crossed-trained with Payroll Department and assisted with the transitioning of the company payroll system to a new company code in addition to the implementation of a new 401K plan. • Coach and counsel regional and store managers on handling sensitive situations (employee and relations) and issues regarding performance and conflict resolution. • Responsible for managing day-to-day department functions such as real-time keeping system, worker’s compensation, general liability, auto and property claims, benefits (enrollment and renewals), ACA, Cobra, LOA’s, EEO1, unemployment claims, new hires, terminations, employee documentation, food certification audits, electronic personnel files, verifications, insurance billing, and corporate vehicle fleet management. • Maintained positive relationships with business partners, vendors, and brokers through respectful and collaborative communication.
