I am a former Police Officer/Detective with the Gilbert Police Department. As a Gilbert officer, I worked Police Patrol, helped implement the ARS 28-3511 Tow Hearing Unit, was a Detective for the Persons Crimes Unit and the Violent Crimes Unit. I was on the East Valley Robbery Task Force and a member of C.A.R.T. (Child Abduction Response Team) I left sworn police work after over 14 years of service due to a work related injury. I currently work as an Administrative Investigator in the Professional Standards Bureau, with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. I am the Public Information Officer and Outreach Director for the non profit, Heroes First, and volunteer as a Peer Support Member, helping police officers and all first responders suffering with Acute Stress and PTSD.
