Strategic Sourcing Manager, Ingredients
Current- Responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating supply agreements, diversifying category supplier portfolio, monitoring supplier performance, and analyzing and resolving monthly purchase price variances for all items - Accountable to manage ingredient categories including: vegetable and fruit juices, functional ingredients, acidulants, all Asian sourced materials, high intensity sweeteners and miscellaneous direct ingredients - Lead 8 Step Strategic sourcing and negotiation initiatives in support of company cost reduction goals, and negotiation and execution of robust legal agreements - Leveraged cross-functional resources to qualify alternate sources across categories that were previously single-sourced, ensuring cost competitiveness and business continuity - Delivered negotiation and cost savings impact of approximately $5MM from 2011 to present through supply base rationalization and strategic sourcing efforts within targeted categories - Provide leadership and guidance to develop career path for direct report
