Responsible for planning programs for residents, enforce campus policy, conduct roommate mediation if needed, attend meetings and training programs. While working on a staff of 9 resident assistant and cross campus staff of over 40, team work and compromise is an area that is essential to the position. Planning a minimum of 7 programs for residential students each semester I am able to teach residents in many different areas including community service, leadership, wellness and more. After two years as a Resident Assistant, I am now currently a Senior Resident Assistant, a leader to a staff of 9. This change has giving me the opportunity to be an resource not only to residents but resident assistants as well.

Responsible for planning events for prospective students, helping both international and domestic students through the admission process as well as data entry are just some highlights. Learned multiple data systems quickly and efficiently. Take part in the event planning for multiple events and a larger role in a 3 day event called InCLUsive. This event entails finding residential students to host, as well as meals, sessions, activities, and budgeting. Also trained in working as a front desk receptionist where multitasking and customer service is crucial.
