I am a high-energy professional that will expend whatever time is required to complete a task or project. I emulate strong work ethics and integrity, while maintaining a good sense of humor. I am very detail oriented and organized in my personal and professional life, enabling me to deal with immediate tasks. I am always looking to learn and expand professionally. I earned my BS degree in Organizational Leadership from CSU-Global in April 2011 with a concentration in criminology. This degree leveraged my strong professional foundation and increased my knowledge of leadership and management skills including policy development, legal issues, project management, organizational behaviors, information control and technology. I also obtained my real estate license and am a member of the National Association of Realtors and a Colorado Notary.I believe in being a productive member of society. So in 2009, I became a victim’s advocate volunteer with the Larimer County Sheriff’s office. The process to become a volunteer is extensive. All volunteers must pass an integrity interview with an Investigator, oral boards, a thirty-five page background/personal history statement that is assigned to an Investigator who spends a minimum of forty hours reviewing and verifying. After passing these stages, there is approximately sixty hours of required training. My volunteer experience as a victim’s advocate with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department provides me the opportunity to leverage my compassion for people, improve my interpersonal skills and enhance my ability to deal with complex and difficult situations.
