Current• Manage a team of Portfolio Accountants to ensure all functions related to the reconciliation of the Investment Accounting System (Eagle) to Custodians, Prime Brokers and Counterparties are performed timely and accurately across a diverse set of strategies• Participated in a large outsourcing project to successfully move one-third of the Portfolio Accounting reconciliations from the US to TIAA India. Interviewed, hired, onboarded and trained staff and continue to provide support for the offshore team• Partnered with Technology, Client Reporting, Operations and Vendors during the company’s investment accounting system conversion from Portia to Eagle Star which improved operational efficiencies for over 700 accounts• Collaborated closely with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch over 90 new accounts to date totaling $4b+ in AUM• Act as a subject matter expert and business point of contact for key production issues and ad hoc questions from internal and external stakeholders such as Portfolio Managers, Client Services, Client Reporting, Compliance, Risk and Custodians• Achieve results through leadership and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Investment Management, Client Services, Technology and Finance Personnel• Actively participate in Business Transformation initiatives by developing, reviewing, and providing sign-off on workflows, procedures, test cases, SLAs (service level agreements) and FSOMs (future state operating models)• Train and mentor Portfolio Accountant Specialists by providing coaching and performance feedback and fostering a team-based working culture in order to achieve success within the team and the organization• Support new account launches, mergers, asset transfers and custodian changes through extensive collaboration with Client Services, Product, Technology, Operations, Portfolio Managers and Custodians to achieve timely and seamless results• Conduct annual performance reviews and make recommendations
