My name is Veronica Vega and I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood with a ZA endorsement at University of Michigan-Dearborn. In 2015, I received my Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Baker College of Allen Park with honors.I have always loved and adored working with children. I have worked with children from birth to fifth grade since 2008 and in 2013 I was fortunate enough to be placed as an Associate teacher in a preschool classroom in Southwest Detroit and have worked there ever since. I was always interested in being a teacher but did not think going to college was something I could do. However, after my first year as a Teacher assistant, I was finally convinced that teaching was something I just had to do. I decided to go back to school and further my education in Early Childhood and I have been working towards my degree ever since. I have very much enjoyed being part of the children’s learning experience and love to be able to assist them in reaching their full potential. Children has taught me to have the courage to reach my full potential and I can definitely say they are my motivation on furthering my education and become a teacher.
