I am a compassionate animal-loving Environmental Studies graduate, having focused my undergraduate degree on species diversity and wildlife sustainability. I've had the opportunity to gain my experience and knowledge through working as a Wildlife Technician for the Government of Manitoba and as a Wildlife Rehabilitator at WHRC and WRA. I have experience conducting avian surveys, bird banding, and recording data on various databases for the Province of Manitoba. As a Wildlife Rehabilitator I’ve gained experience handling and rehabilitating wildlife through tasks such as: conducting medical examinations, administering medications, assisting in veterinary procedures, providing physiotherapy for patients, providing enrichment, and rescuing wildlife in need of assistance.Any chance I get I'm spending my time outdoors in nature. My favourite activities include birding, hiking, camping, soccer, and running. During these activities I am eager to learn about the environment and species diversity around me. I am knowledgeable of many native species within Manitoba and British Columbia, including species natural histories, needs for survival, appropriate habitats, diets, and the major issues affecting wild populations.
