Hello, a little bit about me. I joined the Army Reserve right out of high school. After 7 years I was honorably discharged. I then begin my work journey. I’ve done everything from cashiering at a convenience store to working in a warehouse, fast food service and even waitressing. I moved to Texas in 1993 and that is when I got into management for the first time. I started as a cashier at a local convenience store and within a month they sent me to management classes and I became a manager for the company. I loved it and I was good at it. Fast forward a few years and I entered the big retail box store life. I started out at the bottom and worked my way up to running the front end, running an online grocery department at a super center with 70-80 people, then I moved to apparel to get more experience in general merchandise. And now I am looking towards the future and wanting to try something new and different with a new company. I love to be challenged. I’m a people person, I’m excited for the next chapter in my career journey.
