I lead with a commitment to fostering cultural pride, community engagement, and academic excellence. Through guest speakers, potlucks, fundraisers, study sessions and social activities, I work to create a supportive environment where students of Puerto Rican heritage can thrive academically, socially, and culturally. I lead the weekly executive board meetings and bi-monthly General Body Meetings of a 100 person club.

I supported the President in year-round planning and driving the organization's mission forward. With a focus on collaboration, innovation, and community engagement, I work closely with our team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance the student experience and promote cultural awareness.

I oversaw the financial health and stability of our organization, making sure we continued to grow financially even as our expenses increased. From budget management to financial planning, I worked diligently to ensure that our resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to support our mission and initiatives.

I provided training and orientations to new employees as well as strategic advice on how to retain and hire employees. I managed different levels of projects both in the office and in the retail department. I am responsible for managing small teams of employees in a dining hall that serves over 2,000 people a meal period as well as a retail store grossing in over $10,000 in sales in a day. I had the distinct honor of participating in the prestigious Luis A. Ferrer Executive Internship hosted by La Fortaleza of Puerto Rico. During this internship, I was placed in the State Department of Puerto Rico, specifically in the Office of Foreign Citizen Services, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Vicenta Pérez Espinoza.
