Hi there! I’m a dedicated and innovative synthetic biology researcher and executive, committed to turning cutting-edge science into meaningful real-world solutions. 🌿🧬My background in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology has been further enriched by extensive experience in synthetic biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and entrepreneurship. My passion it to use this diverse expertise to navigate and connect the worlds of science and business effectively, embracing new challenges and turning them into opportunities. As the COO, Director, and Co-founder of a biotech startup, I lead our strategic vision and drive operational success. I oversee technology development and R&D strategies, ensuring that our scientific innovations align with business goals. My role includes strategic planning, financial management, IP strategy, and organizational leadership. I’m focused on fostering growth, building industry partnerships, and guiding projects from concept to successful completion. My Ph.D. research involved developing highly controlled genetic circuits and advanced methods for reading and writing genetic information across prokaryotes, mammalian cells, and plants in high throughput. I designed an end-to-end pipeline integrating third-generation sequencing technologies, such as Nanopore sequencing, with robotics. I thrive on the process of designing new concepts and seeing them through to completion, from initial conception to fully realized projects. 🚀Additionally, my time as a visiting researcher at Stanford University allowed me to explore the intersection of plant bioengineering and engineering biology, enriching my perspective and approach to innovation. In my career, I have extensively supervised and trained students in laboratory settings, led scientific discussions, and provided mentorship. Beyond work, I find personal fulfillment in baking, painting, and gardening, which help me balance creativity with precision.I’m motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact across science, business, and mentorship. I look forward to connecting with fellow innovators and exploring new opportunities to make a difference together! 🌟
