I am a highly ambitious and skilled trainer, facilitator and consultant with 18 years of experience in program planning and development, event/project management, facilitation and training, and organizational change and strategic planning.My experience on community and non profit boards provide me with the lens to be people and process oriented, allowing growth on all levels to be accomplished. As a mother of two, growing and learning with my little legacies deepened my connection to and passion for children’s literature. I am a celebrated educator, facilitator, and children’s book author. My books are based in social & emotional learning principles with a focus on plant care, gardening and ordinary life events. They can be used as tools for deeper connection and understanding in spaces of learning. I am an advocate for BIPOC representation in children’s book. Our young readers deserve to see themselves graced on the shelves and within the pages of captivating and engaging stories.
