Veronica is a storyteller and innovator who has brought impact solutions to the film industry for the past 20 years. Currently, she leads the initiative to further the legacy of General Magic, one of the most influential tech start-ups of all time, through development of a workshop and screening series designed for innovators around the world.Veronica joined the General Magic team in 2018 after managing the world premiere of the award-winning documentary. General Magic dives into the innovation process with lessons on product development, passionate teams and the benefits of failure in the innovation journey. We work across the corporate, start-up and education sector worldwide, offering our workshops for teams, off-sites and leadership groups.She was an early pioneer in the development of sustainability and zero-waste practices for film/TV productions. Veronica's work at the New York Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment and in developing the start-up EcoSet Consulting led to many industry standards in eco-friendly solutions for film/TV productions. She created and oversaw zero-waste initiatives on 70+ TV commercial productions for the retail corporation Target.Her passion to deepen the impact of the storytelling experience has elevated over 200+ film festival and outdoor film screening events. In her role as Operations Manager and Event Producer for the now iconic Cinespia, she executed large-scale outdoor screening events for crowds as large as 4,000 weekly, growing what started as a struggling, date-night go-to at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery into a profitable, world-renowned classic cinema venue. She has a long history of managing screening events at film festivals and classic theaters across the United States and abroad. Including working in Theatre Operations at the Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, AFI Fest, New Zealand International Film Festival, TCM Fest and more.She loves film, travel, live music and most of all her favorite city, New Orleans, where she is currently based :)
