Hello! My name is Veronica Peck. I am an undergraduate student studying Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and real estate. I studied one year at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE where I was on the dance team and in the community band. Auditioning for UNO's MavForensics team is what brought me to Omaha in August 2020. Formerly, I was the assistant speech coach at Omaha Skutt Catholic High School where I worked for three years. In January of 2024, I accepted the head speech coach position at St. Wenceslaus Middle School where I am currently coaching. Lastly, I work as a delivery driver for Dominos Pizza! Being in charge of of others' lives was the most important role I had as a lifeguard. While it is nerve racking, it is also awesome to know that I was capable of saving someone in a life threatening situation. Teaching swimming lessons requires all of the same things, plus more. It allowed me to make connections with children and teach them something they didn't know how to do before they met me.
