About Veronica Quigley

I graduated with high honors from Stevens Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Pure & Applied Mathematics and minors in Visual Arts & Technology and Science, Technology & Society. As an experienced educator familiar with working not only in the classroom but also online, I have worked at Stevens as a Teaching Assistant for the Calculus I & II courses and as an Instructor for the Mathematics Immersion Summer Program. Additionally, I have two years of international experience as an educator through The Fulbright Program. As a founding Fulbright Grantee for the Lithuania program, I had the opportunity to spend two years living and working in Lithuania as an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) and partner of the U.S. Embassy in Lithuania and the U.S. Department of State. I was based in Visaginas, a predominately Russian district with over forty diverse nationalities of residents. My role was not only to teach at the local schools but also to foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding. After accepting an invitation from the embassy to serve a second term, I returned to Visaginas for another year. In addition to my school assignments, I developed new curriculums and led multiple English language programs and conversation groups throughout the city and organized special events. After joining two Lithuanian choirs, I founded and directed an English language choir. I was invited to guest lecture in multiple countries, judge national and international competitions, attend international media literacy conferences, and sometimes serve as a plenary speaker. I was often in contact with LCC International University faculty and staff regarding teaching practices and unique opportunities.
