I defined and implemented the processes to apply Corporate Finance policies regarding the different cultures of the countries in which we operate. I also implement those processes including a periodic review and improvement that sometimes require some corporate policies adjustments due to culture factors.I designed and implemented a reporting methodology to match the accounting and company actual ERP with the LATAM business model not contemplated in the corporate systems parameters. I actively participate in the strategic reframing of the Telecommunications Business Unit, also being one of the Change Agents.I’ve made a diagnostic of the economic and financial situation of every company of the group. I’ve designed a financial re-engineering plan with different alternatives that could be activated depending on the possible scenarios focusing in the core business.

(July ‘05 / December '05) I managed the deployment of WIMAX Technology in Velocom Argentina. Supply conditions negotiation, installation of eleven base stations, provisioning process and pricing policies definitions, etc. (September '04 / July '05) I managed the deployment of an Access Control and a Time and Attendance System in “Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes” http://www.cerveceriaymalteriaquilmes.com/index.php (September '03 / September '04) I managed Datco’s participation in a Technological Renovation Project in “Droguería del Sud” http://www.delsud.com.ar/ . The whole project consisted on the implementation of the ERP Great Plains, functional redefinition of the Logistic, Stock and Call Center process, Users Training, etc. My responsibility was to coordinate the relationship with Microsoft (the Integrator) and the utilization of 18,000 hours of 30 of the 120 consultants participating.

I made an Economic Valuation and a Global Diagnostic of this company for the mayor stake holders. Considering my conclusions, I made a proposal consisted in triplicate the production capacity to satisfy a growing demand from Chile and Brazil. The investment needed to make this happen was equivalent to 20% of the Sales forecast of the following year. In addition, three principal processes had to be reformulated.The proposal was accepted, and I dedicated the rest of that year to manage the deployment of the reorganization plan.

I was in charge of design and implement a business model to adjust the company to a new economic scenario. This made the company survive, succeed and generate sustainable profit. This plan also included the redefinition on the core business and the reorientation of the business processes.

I developed a regional position based in Argentina for seven Latin American countries. The objective was to create a human and information net to give support to the Business Consulting Proposals.In addition, I planned and coordinated training, information and cooperation initiatives for these industries in the whole region.

I was responsible for the economic valuation of the business opportunities, new services and products.I designed a commercial cooperation agreement with the objective of developing a relationship with the content companies with three principal conditions: 1) Telecom gave connectivity, internet access and mobile communications; 2) Telecom received content for the portal to test users interest; 3) During the Content companies seek of money investors, Telecom reserved the right to buy a participation at the price the companies could get in the market.

I was responsible for the department creation and management. Definition of roles profiles and hiring. Design and implementation of the internal processes and the inter-relation guidelines with all the other departments of the company.My principal functions were the Company Budget, The Strategic Plan, Costs analysis, benchmarking, and a constant seek of business optimization.

I was in charge of following up the Internet Business Plan (I developed during my former role) during the Start-Up.I was responsible for the Finance and Administration department creation and management. Processes and roles and profiles definition and hiring were part of the start up tasks I developed.

I was part of a multi-disciplinary professional group dedicated to the business opportunity analysis, economic valuation, and search of different financing possibilities. I participated in the negotiation of Stock Transfer Contracts and Shareholder’s Agreements for the acquisition of several companies.I developed the Business Plan of every investment initiative for all the Communications and Media technology available in the market during those years (Mobile Phones, Satellite Phones, Internet Service Providers, Cable TV, Satellite Launching, Call Center, Billing Service, etc), considering the technology and market trends and analyzing how these investments would have impacted in TELECOM.I developed the Internet Start-Up Business and Action Plans for TELECOM.

I participated in the negotiation, implementation and follow-up of the imports (telecommunications equipment, cable, etc.) financed by international credit lines like CESCE, COFACE, EXIMBANK, etc.I negotiated with the banks and the suppliers.I developed and implemented the follow-up of the total cost of the commercial short and long term debt of TELECOM ARGENTINA
