I worked in larger group settings to complement students' Introductory Economics and Applied Statistics learning by reviewing lecture material and answering questions on their assignments. My responsibilities also included grading 1-3 weekly homework assignments of over 80 students and providing detailed feedback for the course to the professor to aim for student improvement in the following years.

I guided students using a holistic approach to learn calculus, economics, and statistics while helping them build skills in note-taking and studying effectively. Additionally, I served as a Supplemental Instructor to an Introductory Economics course, leading multiple weekly group sessions with about 15 students.

My partner and I investigated the default risk and loan characteristics in small business peer-to-peer loans using data from the popular LendingClub platform. We constructed and ran multiple regression analyses using loan-specific, borrower-specific, and macroeconomic variables and presented our research to the College's annual Student Symposium.

I analyzed the Federal Household PULSE Survey to determine changes in employment and income trends during Covid-19. Using R, I programmed a script to clean the data and generate correlations for expected and actual income loss to cases and vaccines during the first year of Covid-19. I was nominated to present my research at the annual Math, Data Science, and Computer Science department's Student Colloquium that fall.
