Veronique is an in-house attorney and is licensed in New York, U.S.A. Ms. Yang received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Veronique is a native Mandarin speaker and has exceptional English speaking and writing skills, having been a senior editor of the International Law Journal at Case Western Law. Veronique is also fluent in Japanese, having worked at Jones Day’s Tokyo office and studied at Hitotsubashi University School of Law. Prior to joining Global Law Office, Ms. Yang was a member of Clifford Chance LLP’s Shanghai team. Ms. Yang specializes in general corporate matters and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and she has represented multi-national corporations in a variety of cross-border transactions including mergers and acquisitions in China initiated by foreign capital, structuring and executing the Chinese component of complicated global mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investments in various forms, including establishment of wholly foreign-owned enterprises or joint ventures, real estate development, financing and M&A projects, private equity and venture capital investments, debt financing.
