The RTIA-facility is a Joint Initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by Enabel, VVOB & APEFE (Team Belgium), Expertise France (France) and EDUFI (Finland). The Facility aims to strengthen teacher governance and management, build capacity for teacher education and professional development, and promote cross-country collaboration, partnerships, learning and build evidence that can inform policy and practices. The Facility aims at positively affecting the status and working conditions of teachers and enhance teacher professional competencies to translate in improved quality of teaching and learning within Sub-Saharan Africa.

Wehubit aims to boost digital social innovation as a vehicle for accelerating inclusive and sustainable development, reducing inequalities and empowering people in Enabel’s partner countries. We specifically target the scaling-up/replication phase of digital social innovations. We seek for projects that will scale-up existing digital solutions so that these are rolled-out at larger scale and become more available, affordable and performing.

VVSG is the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities. As a member of Staff for VVSG-International I'm providing advice, training and support for local governments in international cooperation, more specifically in the framework of the Flemish programme for municipal cooperation between local authorities in the North and the South.

EAPRIL stands for European Association for Practitioner Research on Improving Learning in education and professional practice. EAPRIL will try to increase the impact of practice-based and applied educational research on educational policy. Within the context of initial and lifelong learning, the aim of EAPRIL is to develop and promote learning and professional development of individuals, teams, organizations and networks . EAPRIL wants to promote and develop educational and training practices in educational, business and professional contexts, including workplace learning. EAPRIL brings together practitioners, researchers and policy makers together in order to support Practice-Based research and its contribution to practice and theory.

- Planning, monitoring and evaluating education-related development projects in South-Africa, Nepal and Haiti together with our local partners.- Reporting about the status of the projects to all stakeholders in Belgium (board of directors, sponsors,...).- Networking with other relevant actors to harmonize initiatives. - Following-up of the latest trends of national and international development policy.- Advising the board of directors on the NGO’s overall policy in the South.

- Planning, monitoring and evaluating the projects (capacity building) of the inter-municipal cooperation in Senegal together with our local partners.- Reporting about the status of the projects to all stakeholders in Belgium (mayor & adjuncts, officials, national government,…).- Establishing and coordinating municipal focus groups to sustain the inter-municipal cooperation.- Networking with other relevant actors to harmonize initiatives.- Writing strategy- and action-plans for the national government.
