We later acquired the International LiDAR Mapping Forum, a niche conference that had been held in the USA and was focused on highlighting the benefits of this new, cutting edge technology and had applications in to both the ocean science and land survey sectors. Our attendance quadrupled in size attracting visitors from more than 60 countries resulting in us expanding and cloning the event in to the European market. We sold the company to Diversified Communications in 2013 where I stayed on as Group Director for the Diversified Communications Cotswold Office.

Worked with an international committee of experts who were tasked with developing the conference and I was responsible for all sales, marketing and operations for the event.

Also organised the Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Showcase which was a technical and scientific conference that focused on the early developments in the field of autonomous marine robotics. Developed strong links with the ocean technology community who were confident of my abilities which enabled me to later launch my own ocean technology event in to the sector.
