In succession to my internship, I'm currently working on two hydrogen fuel cells which will be placed in a Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van to replace the diesel engine. Therefore the fuel cells have to be assembled on a frame that first has to be engineered.

During my internship I wrote a paper about the factual differences between driving a battery electric vehicle and a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle as these systems exist now and in the next 40 years.Also, I performed measurements on Ground Support Equipment at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, in cooperation with KLM Equipment Services, to find out if the equipment would be ready to convert to hydrogen instead of diesel fuel. With this conversion AAS could save on their CO2-emissions.Lastly I helped out with some mechanical work on the Fiat HyDoblo; a Fiat Doblo Cargo that is converted to run on a hydrogen fuel cell.

For my graduation, my colleague and I acquired the Erkend Duurzaam (Corporate Social Responsibility) certificate which is conducted by the BOVAG organization. This certificate proves to (potential) customers that Roordink Bedrijfswagens is a sustainable company.Next to that, we wrote a report on how they can use the certificate to their advantage.

As chairman of the board I had the responsibilty over about 40 volunteers, to make sure the students of the HAN had a place to go after class or their spare time. This happens by means of a cafe, entirely run by our student association: Lokaal '99.Next to this, I also played the roll of chairman for organizing the introduction of the new students in 2009 and 2010.
