As the Interim CEO of Positiv.ly, I am building the foundation of the Ascend Innovations spin-out to prepare it for rapid growth over the next two years.The mental health of our teens has never been worse, and Positiv.ly gives them a safe space to learn from their peers and connect with support services in their local community. Positiv.ly partnered with CareSource, one of the nation's largest Medicaid providers, to provide services across the country.

Working with the team at SafeChain, I helped the company raise our first $3M in venture capital financing, implement proper financial and managerial controls. My primary responsibilities changed as the company grew and I shifted to a role dedicated to launching our initial products with the title insurance industry. As the head of product, I lead the ongoing development of our talented team of product managers, designers, and a market researcher. Our crowning accomplishment was the successful launch of SafeWire, which achieved a 72% CMGR over the first year of launch and protected over $100M in residential real estate transactions. I also worked closely with development teams in-house and overseas as Product Owner within the SCRUM structure. In these roles, my approach was always "team first" and I worked to develop an environment where team members could maximize their performance.

At Rev1, I had the opportunity to recruit, perform diligence, and lead the financing of some of Columbus's best software startups, including ScriptDrop, UpDox, PriorAuthNow, Aware (formerly WireTap), iReconCars, Seamless Contacts, and others. These companies created hundreds of jobs and attracted over $150M in external financing.Whether through our pre-seed workshops, due diligence process, or community-building activities, I always strived to put the entrepreneur first and develop a community that supported their heroic efforts.

At Definity Partners, I served in a product marketing role for a 40+ person Operations Consulting firm as they redefined their product offering. I had the incredible opportunity to work with several world-class executives in this role, including a multi-IPO executive and a serial entrepreneur. These leaders helped strengthen my focus on operational excellence and shaped how I build highly empowered teams.

I started my first tech startup while an undergrad at the University of Dayton. We provided global R&D reach for brands and firms looking for fresh ideas. I served in a product management capacity, wireframing and working with our software developer to define the user experience.Our customers included MeadWestvaco, Rabobank, Royal Haskoning, De Alliantie, and others. We raised about $130,000 and graduated from The Brandery.After moving to San Francisco, we crashed and burned. I learned many vital lessons from this experience, and I appreciate all the mentorship and support that helped get me started.
