Vesna V. Maksimovic, painter and poet, was born in 1972 in Kragujevac, Serbia.She is an author of four poetry collections: Vanilla Scent 2010, In the Passage 2016, Walls 2019, On the Other Side of the Wall 2020. Translated on english, italian and chinese.From the very beginning Vesna has been determined to represent herself. She opened the door of imaginary to the world, which attracts attention with its authencity and colour.She paints on silk. There are many unique, hand-painted scarves, which precede her first solo exhibition of paintings.She was the first in the city to organise a solo painting exhibition in the Gallery of the National Museum, in December 2019.Sense of perspective, illusion and colour, along with the creative impuls and commitment, result in artistic wholeness full of details, in unique paintings within a painting.Vesna has been a participant in a number of collective international exhibitions.She is a member of the Association of Fine Artists “K.U.L.T.“, Kragujevac, Serbia.
