The project 'Stopimo skupaj za naše šolarje' was initiated by Rotary club Ljubljana 25 in order to collect money for 6,000 school bags with all necessary utensils for the pupils from socially-challenged families in Slovenia. The project encompassed three larger events: a stand-up show at Hotel Mons, Ljubljana, with Mojstr3 smeha v 3D, a visit of the world-famous basketball player Rašo Nesterović to primary school Trebnje and a charity concert with Big Band RTV Slovenija and several Slovenian popular musicians. With the aid of more than 4,500 people who donated for the cause, the organizers managed to collect more than 180,000 EUR for school bags, note-books, pencil cases, colored pencils and other items which were donated to children from all regions of Slovenia in June 2013.
