My first career was with the United States Army, where I spent six years on active duty. I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. I learned the meaning of teamwork, discipline, hard work, and integrity which has prepared me for my next adventure in life - college. I graduated with an Associate's degree in Medical Office Management from Mercyhurst University with a 4.0 GPA and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management with a 3.98GPA. I was recommended for the National Society of Leadership and Success by my professors at Mercyhurst University. I feel that education is an adventure that is never finished and I will continue to learn and grow throughout my life and career.I started my next career and became the Human Resources Manager for a company that employs over 1,000 employees. I enjoy managing the office team as well as working with the other leaders each day. I look forward to continuing my growth as an HR professional and navigating this ever changing HR world.
