Principle nurse at branch practice. Wellbeing champion. Able to work at all three sites competently. Social media management. Organising and participation in multiple charity events at the practice and marketing the practice at local events.

So far I have been lucky enough to work as a locum nurse at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park which was an amazing experience. I have also been at many small animal practices including Anderson Vets in Orpington, Green Lane Vets in Headcorn, Cinque Ports Vets and Pennards in Maidstone. Claremont Veterinary Group in Bexhill (where I started nursing and completed my training) has also asked me back to locum - this has been lovely!

All nurse clinics undertaken - 2nd vaccs, post op checks, weight clinics, microchipping, parasite control, basic behaviour and triaging. This was a very busy non appointment practice where emergencies were routine!

Normal nursing duties - nurse clinics, theatre, surgery, reception and clinical coach responsibilities

Working from home I would 'log in' and receive calls from the public about the welfare and health of their animals. This was mainly a service provided by the owners insurance company. It also incorporated calls for Petlog, the RSPCA, Battersea Dogs Home and The Dogs Trust.

VN Duties

This was my first role in a veterinary practice and was where I started and competed my training as an RVN. A busy small animal practice with a varied case load. Nurse clinics, theatre, xray, reception, iv catheter placement, blood sampling, puppy parties. This role gave me an excellent grounding in veterinary nursing.
