I was one of ten fellows selected from around the world for one year in residence at Harvard and MIT to amplify our professional impact. I completed a year of teaching, research and coursework on the intersection of social justice, climate justice, and the built environment.

New York City

Over nine years, I made and managed 350 grants totaling $100M to organizations fighting poverty in New York City. I helped conceptualize and launch dozens of new public-private partnerships in workforce development, immigration, healthcare, youth services, and food security. These programs have scaled and served more than 150,000 people nationwide.

National

I organized political events and rallies for President Obama's re-election campaign as a member of the National Advance Team.

Washington, DC

I supported federal policymaking to advance impact investing, which brings private capital to nonprofit organizations and social enterprises. I also helped launch a series of national forums on social entrepreneurship.

London

I co-designed the Global Innovation Academy, a start-up social venture to skill policymakers in the tools for social innovation. I helped create international learning programs and develop business model, brand and web strategies for this social enterprise.

New York City

My team and I structured more than $5 billion in municipal bonds, helping city and state governments fund public works amid a severe economic downturn. We orchestrated debt restructurings, tracked market risks, and supported rating agency and investor outreach.

Mexico City

As a Fulbright Scholar, I researched HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment policy in Mexico, focusing on rising rates of infection in urban and peri-urban indigenous communities.
