My journey in aviation began in 2017 at ISEC Lisboa, where I studied for a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science. With an interest in Safety and Human Factors, my capstone project addressed cockpit automation and the impact of automated systems on crew performance. After graduating in 2020, I joined a modular EASA ATPL(A) course at Air Dream College (Évora, Portugal), which gave my PPL(A) wings in 2021 and has seen me grow as a pilot since. I currently hold an EASA Frozen ATPL(A): CPL(A), SEP, MEP, IR/PBN, A-UPRT and MCC, with complete ATPL Theory and ICAO English level 6.With a passion for the European project and an interest in EU politics in general, I have been a member of pan-European movements for over six years, doing volunteer work mostly in translations and social media. Universidade Aberta has been my academic home since 2021 and is where I am currently a student for a master’s degree in this field.
